The Occupational Safety and Health Center is offering an Online Construction Safety and Health (COSH) training on May 10-14, 2021. Only 50 participants, preferably from small construction companies, will be accepted in the training.
COSH training is the mandatory 40-hour training course required for safety officers employed in the construction industry under RA 11058 “An Act Strengthening Compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS)”, its IRR DOLE Department Order No. 198, Series of 2018, and DOLE DO 13-98: Guidelines Governing Safety and Health in the Construction Industry.
This training aims to equip participants with the basic knowledge and skills in performing safety audits, assessment and analysis of hazards and risks in the construction industry, determining appropriate control measures, and developing and implementing OSH policies and programs.
Participants are required to use:
Either a laptop or desktop with an internal/external webcam and microphone. Mobile devices such as phones or tablets will not be allowed.
Spreadsheet and presentation viewing/editing programs such as MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Numbers, Keynote, etc.
A stable internet connection is recommended (such as Fiber Wi-Fi) and a minimum connection of LTE for mobile broadband users. Required internet connection speed must be at least 1 Mbps.

Be respectful when interacting with everyone.

Please wait for the confirmation email to know if you are qualified for the Online COSH training. Check your email for the confirmation indicating whether your registration was approved or denied. If approved, it will contain information on how to join the training & other reminders.
