The Occupational Safety and Health Center wishes to invite you to a Self-Paced Online training on “Managing Emerging Health Issues in the Workplace (MEHIW)”.

This FREE advanced training discusses health issues which are acknowledged as major threats to the health and well-being of workers and to enterprise performance. This training will cover the following health domains: Substance Abuse (Alcohol, Tobacco/Cigarette Smoking, Drugs), Health-related DOLE Issuances (Tuberculosis, HIV and AIDS, Hepatitis B), Healthy Lifestyle (Good Nutrition and Physical Activity), Mental Health in the Workplace (Stress and Violence, and Mental Health), and Health Updates in the Workplace (CoViD-19). Taken together, these health problems have a considerable impact on productivity, with direct and indirect costs for both the worker and the enterprise. This advanced training discusses and explains various health issues as they impact the worker and the workplace. The training will prepare the participants in formulating and developing health promotion policy and appropriate workplace programs to ensure the well-being of workers.
