The Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC), thru the Regional Extension Unit III, conducted a FREE Basic Occupational Safety and Health for Safety Officer 1 (BOSH for SO1) training in Central Luzon held on March 10 to 11 via ZOOM online platform.

The 2nd batch is composed of 36 successful graduates from 30 different companies. Regional Director of the Department of Labor and Employment-Central Luzon, Ms. Geraldine Panlilio, welcomed the attendees and delivered an inspirational message. She emphasized the roles of Safety Officers especially during this time of pandemic while a message from the Executive Director Noel C. Binag of OSHC officially closed the program on the 2nd day.

The BOSH for SO1 training is a mandatory training of the Department of Labor and Employment. The training is open to all aspiring Safety Officer of companies with employees 50 workers and below, and to all Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises.
