The Occupational Safety and Health Center is set to conduct a free online Work Environment Measurement Training Workshop on October 26-28, 2021 via the Zoom platform.

This 3-day advanced training is designed to provide Health and Safety Officers, Industrial Hygienists, and Laboratory Analysts necessary knowledge and capabilities in the assessment of chemical hazards such as dust and heavy metals, organic solvents, acids, toxic gases and physical hazards such as noise, heat, illumination, vibration and evaluation of industrial ventilation. It will feature discussion on industrial hygiene and instrumentation.

Pre-requisite to the training is completion of the 40-hour Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) or Construction Safety and Health (COSH) Training.
