The Occupational Safety and Health Center is set to conduct the 40-hour Scaffolding Safety Training on April 18-22, 2022. This five-day training will be held face-to-face.

The training is designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of participants concerning safety in working at heights, safety on erection, and dismantling of tube and coupler scaffold following the OSH Standards. It will feature learning modules on Plan and preparing scaffold materials, tools, fittings/devices, and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment; Fall protection system; manual lifting and handling of scaffold materials (kinetic lifting); technique for raising and lowering scaffold tubes (handballing or chaining, light line/hand line); fall protection at construction site; Erect scaffolds in accordance to industry procedures, and Occupational Safety & Health Standards; Dismantle tube and coupler scaffold.
