“It is important to instill in the minds and hearts of students the importance of work safety and health especially during this time of pandemic. It is vital that they develop the culture of prevention which they will take with them into the professions that they will be having and we are glad to be able to continue our program for students through the online platform,” said Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC) Director Noel C. Binag, CE.
A total of 171 students benefitted from the online occupational safety and health orientation conducted by the OSHC Regional Extension Unit (REU) V, and the Philippine Polytechnic University (PUP) today, June 10, 2021. Students from branches and other units of the PUP, Quezon City University, University of Santo Tomas, Mindanao Aeronautical and Technical School , Batangas State University, Rizal Technological
University , Bataan Peninsula State University, Tarlac State University, PATTS College of Aeronautics, New Era University, Malayan Colleges Laguna, Lyceum of Alabang, De La Salle University, Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba, Adamson University, Angeles University Foundation – Integrated School , and Technological Institute of the Philippines Manila participated in the orientation.
