A total of 50 workers from Novaliches Proper, Quezon City benefitted from the OSH orientation for Micro-enterprises on March 29.

The orientation featured lectures and discussions on the basics of safety and health, unsafe and safe working conditions, DOLE DO 198-18, and the common hazards present in micro-enterprises such as materials handling and storage, poor housekeeping, use of sharps and other equipment, exposure to dust and other contaminants, inadequate ventilation and illumination, and heat stress.

Participants in this orientation were also given information on Women’s Rights in celebration of Women’s Month.
