A total of 1, 682 participants via Zoom and Facebook Live attended the first episode of the OSHC Webinar Series which featured a discussion on Electrical Safety in the Workplace.
Engr. Aldouse Zaguirre, Manager of First Power Electrical Services and Trading Corp, discussed electrical power systems, categories of electrical hazards, effects of electric current on the body, electrical-related injuries, and safety-related work practices and procedures.
On the other hand, the second episode of the OSHC Webinar Series held on 27 May 2022 featured a discussion on Accident Investigation. Engr. Bryan Paul Paraiso, Engineer II of OSHC discussed the importance of accident investigation, general knowledge and skills of an investigator, basic stages of an accident investigation, and notification and records keeping.
This webinar series is given for free to discuss OSH-related government issuances and other relevant OSH concerns to ensure the safety and health of our workers. The next episode will feature Scaffolding Safety and will be held on 03 June 2022.
