Some 1, 735 participants attended the four webinar series conducted by the Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC). The first episode is intended for the Visayas region while the second episode is for Luzon. The third episode is for Mindanao Area and the last episode is for the National Capital Region.

 “This webinar is given in a preparation for the upcoming GKK Awarding with the theme, “Recognizing Best OSH Practices Amidst Crises” which aims to recognize the outstanding achievement of establishments and individuals in terms of responding to the safety and health needs of workers, workplaces, and community not only in the medium and large establishments but also for the micro, informal and government workers,” said Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC) Executive Director Noel C. Binag, CE, MPA during the opening of the webinar.

The webinar featured a discussion on the 12th Gawad Kaligtasan at Kalusugan Framework composed of OSH Policy, Safety Control Programs, Emergency Preparedness Programs, Productivity Awards, Managing OSH in the Workplace, Industrial Hygiene Programs, Environmental Protection Programs, Occupational Health Programs, OSH Capability Training Programs, and Social Accountability Programs.

GKK is a biennial event that is a major strategy for OSH advocacy at the workplaces that will contribute to upgrading the level of knowledge and competence in the implementation of accidents and illness prevention programs.
