The Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC), thru the Regional Extension Unit III, conducted the first Basic Occupational Safety and Health for Safety Officer 1 (BOSH SO1) training for this year in Central Luzon last March 3 to 4 via ZOOM online platform.
The first batch is composed of 41 successful graduates, from 33 different companies. Executive Director Noel C. Binag of OSHC welcomed the attendees and delivered an inspirational message. The training was actively participated thru open forum, activities, and games.
The BOSH for SO1 training is a mandatory training of the Department of Labor and Employment. The training is open to all aspiring Safety Officer of companies with employees 50 workers and below, and to all Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises.Upcoming schedule of BOSH SO1 training for the month of April will be posted soon.
