A total of 477 new safety officers from 324 ccompanies benefitted from nine batches of the Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Training conducted by the Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC) in cooperation with the Occupational Safety and Health Networks (OSHNets) this February.
The BOSH trainings were held at the OSHC main office in Quezon City and in Baguio, Batangas, Butuan, Cavite, Cebu, Davao, and Dumaguete.
The BOSH Training is one of the 40-hour mandatory trainings for safety officers. Under the Occupational Safety and Health Standards, a sufficient number of safety officers, who have finished the BOSH Training, must be employed by all establishments.
